COVID-19 Testing & Contact Tracing Protocols:
Posted 9-26-22: We would like to provide families with the latest information/protocols concerning COVID-19 issued by the New York State Department of Health and the New York State Education Department. This question and answer (Q&A) document (link) should provide you with answers on topics including: quarantine, isolation, testing, masking, busing, vaccines, physical distancing, contact tracing, cleaning/disinfection and remote instruction. Questions after reviewing the Q&A document should be directed to your child's building principal or school nurse. 

COVID-19 Testing for Students & Staff: Onondaga County is offering free symptomatic testing for students and school staff who have COVID-19 symptoms.  More details & appointment information.   

NY State Covid-19 Report Card: To keep parents, students, teachers & staff, and the public fully informed, New York State’s COVID Report Card dashboard reports both Lab Reported COVID Data for the School District as well as School District Reported COVID Data. NOTE: There may be discrepancies in the two data sets on the NYS COVID Report Card page due to reporting lag times and other variables.

FREE Breakfast/Lunch for In-Person & Distance Learners: ESM has been notified that the free meal program providing breakfast and lunch for ALL children 18 and younger will continue through the entire 21-22 school year. Meals will be free for all of ESM’s students.
